Re: Server Uptime
There is a line that has the string "Up time (1/100 s)". As gluyten already mentioned, you caould probably make a custom report that just has this line, along with a few key other ones you may be interested in. If you do this manually, make sure you don't lose any of the TAB characters that separate bits and pieces of each line.

Re: Server Uptime
Is the server up, only if it is meeting it's assigned SLA? That is, does the application it is running respond in the appropriate period of time?
What if the application crashes, but the OS and agents are running - is the server up?
What if the agents die but the OS is running - is the server up?
What if the server hardware POSTS fine, but the OS can't be loaded from the drive - is the server up?
Maybe if we can get a good consensus here we can figure out how to add this into Insight Manager.
Although if server application performance is one of your criteria, you need to be looking into a SPI for OpenView Operations.

Re: Server Uptime
As for Scott's question, a perennial favourite, when is a Server Up?
Personally, and from an IM perspective, when the Server is up and the OS has loaded successfully. Non-critical stuff, e.g. Agents would not be part of that. Mainly to do with the politics of SLA reporting!
Obviously some SLAs are tied to applications, but that would be virtually impossible to build into IM.

Re: Server Uptime
SLA's are probably different for each server, whether it be process, application, OS etc. but I am just looking for the uptime of the server.
