sm2user.dll
Hi Guys,
I have a Proliant server with a RIB installed.
When trying to configure the RIB via Control Panel/Remote Insight Icon, it gives me a error saying unable to find "sm2user.dll". I have reinstalled the Managment agents but the problem exists.
The DLL is in winnt\system32, i've tryed to replace it manually but it's in use, even with the Management services stopped.
Is there any other way to get the RIB board configuration up ?
Regards,
Adam.Currie@rbsint.com

Re: sm2user.dll
Is the Remote Insight Information agent activated (Control Panel - Management Agents)?
Also be aware that this icon can only be used to configure older RIB/PCI and RILOE-I boards, not the iLO or RILOE-II.

A Proliant a day keeps the competition away!

Re: sm2user.dll
Yes, the agent is installed and active.
Where do you configure the newer RIB cards from then?
Thanks.

Re: sm2user.dll
From the F8 key at boot up or though the web interface to the iLo card, assuming it has been able to get a DHCP address.
