snmp 100% CPU Utilization
I have loaded insight 5.0 on two DL380's with 2000 Server, no other software except OS, service pack, and insight have been loaded. The snmp service has my processor pegged at %100, I have loaded the SP1, and set the snmp traps.. When I test the snmp trap it says remote alerted has not finished initializing or is disabled... If I missed something I did it exactly the same way on the other server.. Has anyone seen this..

Re: snmp 100% CPU Utilization
Sounds like your are using Terminal Services. That is a known issue, although I don't know if it is known why it happens.

Re: snmp 100% CPU Utilization
I have encountered a similar issue with an ML350, Windows 2000 server, SP2, insight 5.2, T1500XR ups. SNMP is running at 100% as well.
As a side I installed the power management agent and at each reboot 2000 detects new hardware (powerware ups). I find this odd being that communication has been established with the UPS.
Any thoughts.
