However, although I haven't tried it, you may be able to do this:
imagine a server with multiple NICs connected to the same network. You could add that server into the device list several times, once for each IP address (using differing server names). Then each instance could have its own unique community string override.
Should work, in theory...

So: yes, it's possible to have multiple SNMP strings in CIM, but only 1 for each device (with 1 NIC).

If I understand this I can set different snmp strings on each device in the Manager, these string should match those set when loading SNMP on the server?
