software updates

I am trying to update two bits of software using a carepaq. the HP Proliant Drive Array Notification for windows and the hp insight diagnostics online edition for windows. The HP Proliant Drive Array Notification for windows tells me that the software does not need to be upgraded even when the version control agent lists it as out dated and the hp insight diagnostics online edition for windows installs correctly but does not update in the version control agen. Can anyone help me to understand why this is happening and how I can fix it?
