SSL error
Apologies its a bit long winded!
We have set up some Disk threshold alerts on out servers. However 1 server (a W2K domain controller) resturns the error "The device is not responding to the SSL request".
When you try and drill down to the specfic server it gives you the "overview" screen (Device Information & Device Links), but if you try and drill down any further I get the Internet Explorer "page cannot be displayed error".
We have other DC's that we monitor with insight manager (same build etc), and I've compared all the settings I can think of, but everything appears to be the same, I've reinstalled agents, still the same problem.
Any Guru out there that can point me in the right direction would be much apprciated!
Many Thanks,
Pete

Re: SSL error
Hi -
Try the following and see if that works.
Uninstall the Agents again
delete the directory C:\compaq\WBEM
reboot the server.
Reinstall the agents
Reboot the server after the installation is complete
At this point you should be good to go.
I'm assuming you've already pre-configured the Management Agents. for example the Insight Manager server it is pointing to and trust relationships.
Let me know if that works for you.
