Unable to Create Thresholds

I am running Insight Manager Ver 5.20 to monitor a PL5500 running NT4.0 Service Pack 5.
The server's management agents are Ver 5.10
I am trying to create file system space thresholds on the logical drives but whenever I set a threshold I get the error message
"Error creating threshold. Thresholds may not be supported by this device."
I have a server with exactly the same spec apart from the management agents being 5.30. On this one I am able to create thresholds without a problem.
I've tried creating thresholds on the CPU and NIC of the problem PL5500 and recieve the same error message. Also tried stopping and starting the management services on the server.
