updated the servers support pack but IM7 sp2 does not see the updates

I have updated my server to 640a but compaq IM7 sp2 does not see the software updates when i run a report. Ive execuited the software version status polling task but it still gives the incorrect version. What gives and how do i fix it?

Run a Data Collection task on your servers. It should then pick up the new version in the reports.

If you're talking about the System Software - All Servers standard report, then these tables are populated by the Bi-Weekly Data Collection task which, by default only runs once every two weeks.
Try running that.
