I currently have servers in a remote location that have had the ilo port disabled thru bios and I am in need of re-enabling ilo. My question is there anyway I can do this without having to open the case and setting the switch. I have talked until I was blue in the face with HP and they tell me that is the only possible way. Please tell me there is another way. Thanks for any advice.

Solution
Is this iLO2 or iLO3? What is the server model?
When you say iLO port is disabled, are you talking about the iLO NIC being disabled or the whole iLO capabilities has been disabled?
If the later is what happened then, the iLO press F8 prompt during POST is not going to show up until you open the server top cover and flip the iLO security override switch.
