Hello HPE Community,
I'm currently working on securing the iLO4 access on my HPE server and want to restrict the administrator user (Windows Server -> Lights-out Online Configuration Utility) from accessing and editing iLO4 data, allowing access only through web and SSH. I've explored the settings in the iLO4 interface, but I'd like to ensure I'm taking the right steps.
Could someone guide me through the process of limiting the administrator's access to iLO4 and configuring it to be accessible exclusively through web and SSH? Any insights, best practices, or specific steps would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!

SolutionHello VladW,
Unfortunately, there's no such setting that can disable access to HPE Lights-Out Configuration Utility in Windows from hardware perspective, as the application itself doesn't need authentication. It can be logged in by anyone. The only other option you may have is to restrict access to the application through Windows policy restrictions..
You could use these third-party link for assistance :

Note : The links shared above will navigate you away to non-HPE websites which HPE has no controll over. There may be other links that are available online to help with the same.
