HP DL380 RAID controller not showing in intelligent provisioning.
RIAD configuration isn't possible due to the RAID controller not showing in Intelligent Provisioning.
While is is possible to set a RAID array with a hot spare via the Lifecycle controlle with a second array created via the BIOS due to the lifecycle controller not allowing more than one array at a time. This is insufficient for us as our cliient has requested the arrays be created in a specific order.
What is the possible reason behind the Intelligent Provisioning not showing the RAID controller as it does show in the BUIS and iLO.
thanks

Re: HP DL380 RAID controller not showing in intelligent provisioning.
There have been instances where online firmware updates are not available for drives attached to the Intel Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel VROC). As a workaround, you can try to update the drives attached to the Intel VROC in offline mode. Is that true in your case? If the issue persists, it might be a good idea to check if the RAID controller is supported by your specific server model and if it's properly installed. see https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00114713en_us&docLocale=en_US
