iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Renewal
Last year I configured SSL certificates for iLO on my servers to use Windows NDES / SCEP with the view that that should take care of renewals.
ProLiant DL360 Gen10
iLO 5 v2.72
iLO Advanced Licence
My certificates are due to expire next week and I cannot find any information on how they should be automatically updating or even troubleshoot.
I managed to find an article that said when there is 30 days left they should auto-renew and I should check
Information / Security Log
But there is no information / errors in here in relation to automatic certificate renewal.
Can anyone shed any light on how the automatic renewal should be working or how to troubleshoot it?

Re: Query: iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Renewal - Prolaint server - DL360 Gen10
Yes, that was the section that explains what should happen.
What do I do if that has not happened please?
There is nothing further in the user guide whatsoever.

Re: iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Renewal
ILO advanced license once set on a server does not need any renewal. It is needed only when a systemboard is replaced and the license needs to be re-activated.
Please refer to ILO user guide and refer to these topics:-
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00105236en_us&docLocale=en_US&page=GUID-B8DCFA9C-88F9-4BE5-A25E-8D02F9AE1598.html
Enabling Automatic certificate enrollment
Updating certificate enrollment settings
NOTE: Updating the settings does not initiate certificate enrollment. To start the enrollment, first disable the service and enable it again.
Hope this helps. If issue persists then further troubleshooting might be required and would recommend you to open a support case/ticket.

Re: iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Renewal
@Bunsol Hello Bunsel
Thanks for your reply.
I dont have an issue with iLo Advanced licencing, the subject line does say iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Renewal.
I configured this all last year using the guides available.
This year they are due to expire and I cannot see that they are going to renew.
This is what I was seeking advice on.
