iLO Amplifier Redundancy
iLO Amplifier is being used to display the status of a set of servers at a central position. Our backup for displaying server status is vCenter which will be shortly removed when we move away from VMWare products.
Is anyone aware of a backed-in redundant mode for Amplifier where all information is duplicated in, say, a main/backup mode? Or is the only option a duplicate Amplifier instance. The downside of a duplicate instance is that log, alert history might not be fully synchronized, although this can be overcome.
Haven't been able to find anything about Amplifier redundancy in documentation.

Re: iLO Amplifier Redundancy
Hello @tmhc,
Using iLO Amplifier to monitor your servers centrally, with vCenter as a backup, which you'll soon remove since you're moving away from VMware. You're wondering if there's a built-in way for Amplifier to have redundancy like a main and backup setup where all info is duplicated or if you can only do this by setting up a second Amplifier instance. The issue with a second instance is that logs and alert history might not stay fully in sync, but that can be managed.
From what I’ve seen, there doesn’t seem to be clear info in the documentation about built-in redundancy for Amplifier. So, it might be that the only way is to set up a second Amplifier as a backup, even if it’s not perfect.
