Hello,
I am trying to boot a 585G2 with virtual CD. The boot always fails with isolinux: Disk Error 80, AX=4200, drive 9F. The same ISO works on an identical other 585G2, and also 380G4's without this error.
Other iso's also fail - eg. smartstart. I am wondering how this could be the case, when these ISO's work on other servers. Something is wrong with my ILO!
Has anybody else seen this?
regards,

Solution
hi
just to clarify that error is when server is trying to load I mean you see the server mount CD and that error is displayed in the remote console
isolinux: Disk Error 80, AX=4200, drive 9F
just in case update to 1.43 ilo firmware

Re: ILO II v1.42 running on DL585G - CD Boot Fails
Thanks for the tip. I upgraded it and no change. What is hell strange is booting the sam e ISO image from the physical CDROM drive also fails, so I am beginning to think hardware problem somewhere in the bus...

well yes
if physically in the server also fails and several iso fails
I think also might be a HW issue
