iLO4: Embedded Flash/SD-CARD: The AHS file system mount failed with (No such device)
I recently rebooted my DL360p Gen8 Server to finish windows updates and received a Server Agent email stating the following:
The system has detected the following event:

From some research I did this error may be due to a bad NAND flash device or may require an iLO4 firmware upgrade, or have the system board replaced.
I do not utilize the iLO feature and do not have a network cable even plugged into the port. My question is do I need to worry about this error if I'm not uising iLO? Could this error/issue keep the Server from booting to Windows if not resolved? It did reboot fine this most recent time with this error. Thanks for any assistance/insight!

Re: iLO4: Embedded Flash/SD-CARD: The AHS file system mount failed with (No such device)
If you are looking for iLO 4 firmware update, this can be performed from within Windows using the Windows executable firmware file. This should work even without configuring iLO. But this might not solve the issue.
Apart from this, the effect of this problem could be on iLO, Intelligent provisioning and AHS (active health system) capture.
Your normal production and OS is likely to run fine. But if you happen to come across a problem then if these components are not functional, diagnosing could be difficult.
It would be good it you try to configure and connect to iLO (can be even done using a laptop directly putting both on the same subnet). Once connected, try to download the AHS log. If you are able to download the AHS logs, the diagnostic part of this problem is halved
After the above is done, you can try flashing the NAND partition using the intelligent provisioning recovery media which is available for download on HPE Support site based on the server models.

Re: iLO4: Embedded Flash/SD-CARD: The AHS file system mount failed with (No such device)
Congratulations!
It seems you got the famous "iLO Flash Error" on your system.
The only thing you can do is to update iLO firmware to version 2.62 (if I remember right) or higher. Then you login to iLO management and nvigate to iLO health/Diagnostics. There you see tha flash error again. If you click the iLO health link on the diagnostics page, a new button appears that is labelled "Format embedded flash and reset iLO". Try that....
After the iLO resets you have two possibilities.... Problem is fixed or problem consists.
If it consists, you will need a new mainboard. Except you have the skills to replace the soldered flash chip on the mainboard.
"If it seems illogical... you just don't have enough information"
