Re: InitializeSUM job failed because SUM Create Session Failed
Hello,
It is possible that the downloaded image may be corrupted. It is recommended to download the image again and see if it helps.

Re: InitializeSUM job failed because SUM Create Session Failed
I've re-download the image and it doesn't help, by the way, the problem is only with iLO Amplifier Pack, i've tried to upgrade in server itself and it was successful. The problem is that i have more than 200 servers and i need to do it with Amplifier

Re: InitializeSUM job failed because SUM Create Session Failed
It's because iLO Amplifier has been discontinued. Product Change Notification: (Revision) HPE Platforms - Discontinuation of iLO Amplifier Pack, InfoSight for Servers and Deprecation of HPE iLO Amplifier Hardware Support Manager (HSM) Support for VMware Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)

Re: InitializeSUM job failed because SUM Create Session Failed
Just a thought, could the issue be the new SUM version in the ISO?
If you make a custom ISO with the old SUM and the new firmware/drivers, would that work?

Re: InitializeSUM job failed because SUM Create Session Failed
It might be possible. I mashed together March 2023 and March 2025 (copied 2023 over the top of 2025, so it would have the older and later packages, but the older SUM) using "AnyBurn" and it appeared to accept it in iLO Amplifier Pack interface. The firmware may be up-to-date already, so I don't think it performed any action. I would suggest giving it a go and hope for the best.
