IP Console G2 - Cascading via Top of Rack Switch, possible?
Hello All!
We have some HP IP Consoles, 0x models and 4x models. As I understand it we can connect the 0x models to the ports of the 4x model to provide IP connectivity - which I have tested and this works fine.
My question is, can we connect the 4x switch to an 0x switch via top of rack switches?
Rack A - 4x Console Port 1 > Top of Rack switch Gi/0/48 (VLAN 99)
Rack B - 0x Console Bonding Port > Top of Rack Switch Gi/0/48 (VLAN 99)
The below image is from the manual, the cable connecting the two console switches, can that pass through a top of rack switch if both ports are configured on the same VLAN.
