Regarding ilo2 graphical console

Integrated remote console(IE) or Remote console(IE and Firefox)?

If the server is running Linuxm and you do not have the high perf mouse driver installed. Disable the high perf mouse in the Remote Console-> Settings page.

my server is "hp proliant DL 580 G5". i m using internet explorer 7.0. None of the consoles are providing the mouse input, but i m able to use keyboard. The ilo2 firmware version i m using is 1.42.

i tried disabling the mouse but still its not working. i am not aware of linuxm. pls tell me the work around to check this.

no first start updating the ilo firmware as I pointed in my first answer latest it 1.7 and you got an old one

Thanks for all your kind interaction reply for this issue. It is happy to say that i have resolved the issue. It was the problem with the ilo2 settings. What i did is, i just enabled the option "interactive console reply" on the "settings" tab.

But now i m facing the mouse lagging issue. The virtual mouse is not synchronise with the local mouse. I come to know that there is one high performance mouse option.
But i donot know how to configure it. Is there any seperate packages that i should have to install?

Hi all,

Thanks to everybody for updating on this issue. Its now working fine for me.

For the last mouse synchronization issue i installed the hpmouse rpm which is provided by hp on rhel4 and enabled the high performance mouse option on the setting tab.
