Rilo II FQDN login inconsistencies

Hello-

I have two DL380G2's that have the Rilo II card installed in them. Rilo's are updated to the 1.15 Firmware and they are configured to allow for Domain Authentication.

heres the deal:

If I browse to the Rilo login page using http://servername , it comes up and I can login no problem with my domain ID.

However, if I browse to the Rilo login page using http://servername.fqdn, I get the login page, but logins fail.

Whats the deal here? Has anyone else ever seen this behaviour?

TIA!

Try by just using "http://fqdn".
fqdn consists of both the server name and domain name.

Re: Rilo II FQDN login inconsistencies

Well, let me be a little more clear about how this problem occurs.

If I browse to the Rilo login page using http://servername , it comes up and I can login no problem with my domain ID.

However, if I browse to the Rilo login page using http://servername.domainname (fqdn), I get the login page, but logins fail.

I found another piece of the puzzle as well. The behaviour above only occurs within Internet Explorer. When using Firefox, you can use both methods of connecting to the server and reach satisfactory results.

thanks
