Setting up ILO2 Directory Integration breaks local account access on Vista
We are in the process of moving to Vista (IE7) from W2K (IE6) on our laptops. Vista and W2K users can login to ILO2 with the Administrator account with no problem.
Once you integrate ILO2 servers with AD, however, we found that Vista users could no longer use the local Administrator account even though we left local accounts enabled. W2K users can login with Administrator fine.
Thinking maybe it was IE7, I tried logging in from a 2003 server with IE7 and was able to login with the Administrator account with no problems.
I have also tried running IE7 as an Administrator on my Vista machine but I get the same result. The website shows up as "Local Intranet - Protected Mode: Off". I do not have the rights though to add the ILO site to Trusted Sites to test.
Any ideas? Is it some weird policy only on Vista? Thanks for your help.
