SNMP Trap when a RAID or POWER SUPPLY FAILS
Hello
What kind of SNMP TRAP send a the ILO Board. It would like to be informed, when raid or an power supply fails.
Is this possible over ILO?
Cheers Günther

Re: SNMP Trap when a RAID or POWER SUPPLY FAILS
The Insight agents (part of the ProLiant Support Pack) are responsible for monitoring and alerting. iLO has the ability to forward these alerts in case of a interrupted path between the host and HP SIM.

You can send environment SNMP traps through iLO.
1) load the management agents (on the SmartStart management CD)
2) configure iLO to enable SNMP traps and pass through
3) test the iLO trap functionality is received.
