Re: Test riloe-II boards via laptop crossover cable
From your installation steps,i can see HPONCFG(HP Lights Out on
line configuration utility) is installed on your system.
If you can access the machine remotely,
Please try running HPONCFG utility as under
1.Type "hponcfg" at the command prompt
2. hponcfg should display RILOE-II firmware version,RILOE-II
driver name if RILOE-II is OK.
3.If step2 shows RILOE-II is fine,
Type "hponcfg /w configfile" to capture
the current network configuration in config file.
Check if this configuration is correct.
Also Some network tracing utilities(Ex: etheral) can be used to
trace the packets
1.sent from the laptop side
2.received on the laptop side
to check if the packets sent to RILOE-II and received from
RILOE-II are getting dropped at the laptop end.
This may give an idea if this problem is happening because of
firewall or some other configuration on the laptop side is
causing this problem.
