USB HD connected with IILO Virtual Media become unreadable.
I had a precious USB 60 Gig Hard drive and I connected it to ILO using virtual media. After I connect, I dont have access anymore from both my pc and from the server where ILO is. form my pc, Windows Disk manager see a raw partition and ask for formating.... Virtual media does something that scrap the file system..... :(
Any ideas ?

Re: USB HD connected with IILO Virtual Media become unreadable.
How did you connect the HDD using iLO virtual media? I doubt that iLO corrupted the drive, because the virtual media supports CD and FDD.

I recreated the problem more then once and every time, my HD becomes unreadable. As soon as the Virtual Media connect the drive, thats it.

Re: USB HD connected with IILO Virtual Media become unreadable.
I recommending entering a customer support case and providing the "recipe". I am sure the iLO product team wants to understand the cause of drive corruption.
