After installing HPSIM 4.2 version control repository and home page fails

After i installed HPSIM 4.2 the version control repository is not always detected by sim and sometimes the homepage is not showing intergrated agent but only other agent, after some reboots it works once in a wile.

When the home page is not working okay i can only logging with the administrator password of the system, when the home page is working oke i can login with administrator/operator/user

Is this a bug ?

There is no newer PSP and i cannot find anything on the support forums.

Raymon, just a fairly generic answer -- I'm not familiar with the software at this point.

If you can find anything in the log files, posting a snippet might help someone to address your issue.

Which logfile do you mean?

When i check the VCAGENT log there are no errors. only this one which wil resolve after a few reboots

Unable to login to aspwla07.davinci.nl. The login account or password is invalid.

When i check the VCrepository i dont find any errors

Event viewer of windows is also not displaying errors

Are there any other logfiles ?

You need to read the Release notes, there are changes in authentication between the VCA and the new Homepage.

One of the recommended ways is to set a local account on the VCRM Server with admin rights. Then use the credentials for this account. VCA / VCRM no longer use the old Administrator credentials from the agents.

I used to login with the operator account of the VCRM to check for updates, why is this working after some reboots then ?

It is kind of strange but i will check this out this week
