After installing new Riloe II board, nic from os is no longer pingable
We just installed a new RiloeII board in an old ML530 (G1). After booting without a network cable attacht to Riloe the machine was pingable as normal. As soon as we attach a network cable to RiloeII the Windows 2003 server itself was no longer pingable. Removing the cable instantly "solves" the situation.
We upgraded the riloe firmware en drivers but no success. Can anyone offer some advince?
Thanx in advance.
Mike

Re: After installing new Riloe II board, nic from os is no longer pingable
Mike,
Are you pinging by name or IP? It's not IP'd as the server is it? What did you name it? Maybe a name resolution issue? That's the only thing I can think of besides some kind of bizzare switch/hub problem.

Ping by IP, we are now suspecting a teaming problem gone bad.
In the past some tried to get teaming on that machine working with no success.
We dont have any clue yet so advice is apreciated
