After login to HP SIM remotely i get "The page cannot be found"

What causes the "The page cannot be found" error message after loging into HP SIM from my desktop ... But when i log into HP SIM from the HP SIM server I don't have the problem. I've tried restarting the "HP Systems Insight Manager" service on the HP SIM server with out any luck and also restarting SNMP and its dependencies. O man ... not even a reboot helps!

Check the link you're using to access HPSIM.

It should be:
https://Servername:50000
i.e. no sessionID stuff, no login.js.

If that doesn't work is Port 50000 being blocked anywhere?

Michael,

I have also had this issue with HP SIM 4.x. Besides using the secure port 50000, try initially connecting to the insecured port of 280, IE: http://SERVERNAME:280/

Other than that, always make sure your Java run time installation is at (least) the same level as the SIM server.

Thanks for the responses guys ... i figured it out. It was the session id that I had in my shortcut.
