Apache and SIM/HP VCA questions

It looks like System Management Homepage installs Apache 2.0? I see it as part of the HP Version Control Agent in the hpsmh directory. Is there a way to remove Apache or does SMH need it?

Apache is the embedded web server that provides the SMH interface. It is not a general purpose instance of it and is dedicated to the SMH.
