App -> SIM -> OvO

According to the announcement it is possible to integrate your own applications into SIM. Is this easy? How similar is this to integrating something into OvO?

SIM is also part of the larger picture so how do you integrate SIM into OvO? Is it just SNMP, or can you get a tighter coupling?

Can SIM run on Open VMS?

I can't really answer the OVO questions.

My understanding is that OVO can use a large amount of the information gained from HPSIM.

And, it's the agents on each Server that HPSIM uses to get that information.

I don't believe HPSIM is available for VMS, but there are Insight Manager Agents available for VMS (Alpha Only) that allow HPSIM to collect data.
