Assistance Needed with Reporting the status of Network Cards
Hi all,
I am seeking the expertise of this group in regards to generating(if possible?) a custom report. I am now trying to see if it is at all possible to run a report that shows some specific information in relation to the Network Card configuration. There is a plan to upgrade the some backend Switches so it is imparitive to identify which servers have a single Network Card connected as well as say, a Dual Network card/ or dual network port(single Network Card) that may only have one live connection. Both these senario's could be a problem when the upgrade occurs. I would like to make sure that we have redundancy in place so all of these servers will be able to remain up when this occurs. If anyone can provide any assistance that would show this information I would greatly appreciate it. To Recap- 1. Identify those Servers with a Single active connection and 2. Identify the Servers that have 2 cards with a single network connection each, or Identify the Servers that have a single network card with dual ports(where one port may not be connected but should be for redundancy).
Once again any information you can provide me to where I can capture this information under a report would be great.
Thanks.
