Automatic Event Handling e-mail option

hi, we are running HP SIM v4.2 . I am having trouble with sending e-mails notifications to multiple people under automatic event handling portion. Under each task, I specified multiple e-mail addresses separated by comma in the CC: field. Is this the right way to do it? Or only a single recipient is allowed in the CC: field?

thanks

Re: Automatic Event Handling e-mail option

my bad! I am using a semicolon to separate the e-mail addresses and it's shooting back and error message: Illegal semicolon, not in group: person1@mail.com;person2@mail.com;person3@mail.com

please shed a light on how to configure it to send notifications to multiple recipients!

Re: Automatic Event Handling e-mail option

You had it right the first time !!

Separate multiple addresses by a comma, with no spaces.

ie: person1@mail.com,person2@mail.com;person3@mail.com

Good Luck!

Re: Automatic Event Handling e-mail option

Oops - even I did it. I'm so used to using semi-colons (MSExchange/Outlook), that I did it in the previous reply...

Again - use COMMAS to separate, without spaces...

Re: Automatic Event Handling e-mail option

Thanks Pat. After some playing around just now, I did discover it should be comma. duh! Why doesn't HP put this clearly in the SIM manual?! =P
