Is there a product or a service of HP, with which you can select/read "Server Asset Text"?
Or perhaps does it give a module for the hp systems insight manager. For us it is important in the fields the "Server Info Text", "Administrator info Text", "Service Contact Text" and "Custom Post Message" data deposited in the Bios visible.

Insight agents display the Asset Tag information under System --> System Info. That information is also collected into the hpSIM database for reporting purposes.

Additionally, the agents provide fields for Contact, Location and Server Role.

Hi, I was also wandering is there a wmi class, or w32 class query that can be run to retrieve the server asset text set in the bios?
