Bogus events/emails in SIM 4.2

SIM 4.2 is located on a Proliant ML370 with OS of windows2000 SP4. I noticed after clearing events (and not deleting them) I would later on, say a day or two later get a bogus event show up in the event log. I would check the device and see that it did not have an issue. I know this was a buggy issue in IM7 SP2-3 and was told it is still a case with SIM 4.2 .

Before some of you rush to tell me to install the latest SP for SIM, I noticed there was many issues folks were having with SP1 and SP2. Can someone please share some insight into the best course of action...much appreciated.

I had the same problem (Bogus Alerts) as soon as i upgraded to SP2 the Bogus Alerts stopped. I have not had any Issues since the Install and that was well over 3 Months ago
