Can SIM be used to configure ILO
I have a large group of servers that I would like to configure the ILO ports on. All the servers are production so I cant restart the at will, is there a utility to configure the ilo settings from within SIM or Windows2003srv?

Re: Can SIM be used to configure ILO
You cannot do it from SIM directly, but there are some utilities around.
It does depend on what you've already done.
Go to:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locOsCat/69.html
And go to the Software - Lights Out Management section.
There's a utility that uses XML scripts to configure the ILO.
You don't need to reboot Servers to get ILO changes done. At worst you need to restart the ILO when Network changes or Firmware updates are done.
