Short answer is no.
There are utilities that can convert windows events to snmp traps that you could then send to HPSIM.
In addition the HP Management Agents GUI can be configured to send traps if a particular service stops / starts.

Hi Rob,

do you have any detailed documentation or links for the same? I think it would be very helpful if we can generate traps from Event Logs or running Services.
