Can SIM duplicate events be cleared?

The way we use SIM is as a tool to create work orders for higher level IT to take a closer look. I would love to know if there is a way to look at the events and not see 100 duplicates for the same server for the same event. Other than the obvious solution of fixing the problem. We're in the process of cleaning up a few SIM queues that have been neglected and combing through the entire log so I can delete duplicate server/event combos is very time-consuming. Anyone have any suggestion?

Not quite sure of your process here.
What duplicates are you referring to?

We do something similar, I use a custom command to format a message based on an event that we then pass on up to the management tool. But we don't get duplicate events.
It's a one off firing that's generated by the event handling process.
