Can't access device in Insight (cookies being blocked)
Hi, I can only access devices when I use their IP address rather then the DNS name (using hosts file on my desktop).
I get told either the dates are more then 7 days diffferance or 3rd party cookies are being blocked etc..
Have checked all this on my desktop without any effect, only way is to change the dns name in the url to the ip each time!
Thank
Jim

Re: Can't access device in Insight (cookies being blocked)
You're not going out via your Proxy Server are you?
You might want to check the Proxy rules.
In IE, the Bypass Proxy for Local Addresses works on the fact that no FQDN is passed. As soon as one is, this rule ius ignored. So, it would be up to other rules in the Proxy config.

Does the servername have an underscore? See post at http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=532070 or
