Can't get SIM 5 working on a VM

I built an HP-UX 11.23 guest and loaded SIM 5 on it. I can not connect to SIM. When I try to connect to https://serverIP:50000 I get the error "The page can not be displayed".

The only thing installed is the OS and SIM 5.

Make sure the IP address is pingable. Also make sure that your /etc/hosts file and the nsswitch files are configured correctly. Also, make sure that the SIM service is up and running.
