Can't Lock System Names and Types casuing issues

Can't stand the fact that SIM does not allow you to lock the device name and type. This casues issues whena device has a problem and we notice the name changed to ORPHANED or the IP address. Makes it real hard to keep customized lists correct and also to quickly identify the real server having the issue. No one at HP seems willing to explain why the change and why they won't fix it!
As usual with HP one step forward, 2 back! Come on, fix this HP!

SIM 4.2 which is now available will let you edit system properties such as name and type and lock them from changing.

Yee Ha! It's about time. Now if I can get the upgrade to run wthout faling I might be able to utilize that function!
