Cannot upgrade or uninstall

Tried a Typical upgrade for SIM 5.01. It errored out (without detail) on the SIM install. Now I cannot upgrade, since it tells me the components are not available. I also seemingly cannot uninstall, since it sits at the uninstall screen without processing.

Any suggestions on how to proceed getting SIM 5.02 installed?
