Is it available the CIM for HP/UX? Or RedHat?
I want to have the central management server on HP-UX or RedHat and watch HP-UX and linux nodes.
Where is the data stored in this case? If I know well CIM on windows stores collected data in MS-SQL database.
Is this what I need?
http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T2414BA
Which version to use? I have heard that 7.0 agents caused unattended system reboot. Is this true?
Where can I find doccumentation about how to create my own plugins/agents to report events to CIM.
I'll appreciate any help.
Thanks.

Solution
You have the correct page. This download is for HP-UX 11iv1. Support for 11iv2 is forthcoming.
Agents for your HP-UX systems are different (today) than those for ProLiant systems. Consult your Operating Environment documentation for installation of server agents and WBEM services.
Unless others on this board have experience with this, there are no documented cases of "7.0 agents" causing reboots on ProLiants, either on Windows or Linux systems.
To send your own events to hpSIM, you simply need to create a MIB to compile into hpSIM that matches with the SNMP events you wish to send. HP does not provide any documentation on this.
