Clear events without being Administrator

Does anyone know when HP will fix the issue with users in HP SIM being unable clear events without being administrator ?

The undocumented way of doing that in SIM 4.2 provided by David Claypool does not work with 5.0
Some sort of granular security within the product is required for certain environments....it seems to be all or nothing currently.
