Cluster server setups
I have an issue with my HP SIM 5.0 implementation.
I have several cluster servers in my environment, and I run various data collection reports against them all, to ensure that the hardware remains the same for DRP purposes.
The problem I have is sometimes these machines disapear out of my inventory list. Sometimes when I go to run the report, I actually get a completely different member of the cluster.
Is there any clear way to identify a server as being clustered...thus making it report correctly? Is it tied to the way DNS is set up.

Re: Cluster server setups
Have you enabled the Cluster Information "Inactive Agents" yet? The cluster information agent is Inactive by default.
Control Panel ----->HP Management Agents.
Add Cluster Information to the Active Agents list.
Hope this helps
