Clustering HP SIM issues.....
I have just performed a fresh install of SIM v5.0 SP5 on two separate environments. Both environments are EXACTLY the same (hardware, OS version SP level etc. etc.).
If I look in OPTIONS>SECURITY>USERS & AUTHS>AUTHORIZATIONS and select the CMS group to display it's members, on one of the environments it correctly lists the 'Virtual' Cluster group name (serverclus), therefore covering both Cluster nodes (server1 & server2).
If I do the same on the other environment, it lists one of the actual Cluster node names i.e. server1 instead of serverclus.
Can anyone tell me why this is and, if possible, how I can ammend the members of the CMS group?
I have already read through all of the HP documentation relating to installing SIM as a Cluster service, so please don't include links to docs I already have.
If there is anyone from HP reading this posting, please can you tell me why the 'troubleshooting' sections of your SIM Clustering documents are about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, and why there are so few SIM Clustering docs available?
Thanks all
Stuart
