collect any events: why?
I'm using the last version of HP SIM for 4-5 Windows 2003 Servers.
I can collect only these events: "System is reachable", "System is unreachable". And the other events, like problems with processes, disk space close to end, etc.?
Thanks

Re: collect any events: why?
Different process. Events from those things are generated by the HP Agents on those servers. They then use SNMP (so is the Trap Destination set?) to send an SNMP Trap to the HP SIM Server.
From Control Panel, fire up the HP Management Agents GUI. There's a SNMP Trap Send function that, if things are configured, will generate a Major Event on HP SIM for the server.

Re: collect any events: why?
Another solution for collect events from my servers? An Event Viewer collection?
In my case snmp is activated but the events don't appear in my HP SIM console. How can I check if the transmission?
Thanks
