Configure or repair agent fails and system type displays as UNKNOWN
Version:0.9 StartHtml: 105 EndHtml: 4624 StartFragment: 334 EndFragment: 4592
we are start ups in hpsim
We have installed our hpsim on VM on operating system windows2008 r2 with name WIN-CMS
and we want to monitor our terminal server name hpsimtester
following error is coming when ever we try to configure or repair agents
WBEM certificate installation ..................................... [SKIPPED]
Installing WBEM Certificate is not supported on this system. WBEM protocol settings are not valid/enabled for this system in HP SIM. Check your HP SIM settings for identification via WBEM. Subscribe to WBEM / WMI Indications ................................. [FAILED]
Send test WBEM/ WMI indication from the system ...................... [FAILED]
CMS has to be subscribed for WBEM / WMI indications before it can receive a test indication. Could not connect to the target system: hpsimtester Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. HP Systems Insight Manager was unable to connect to the target using the provided username and password for the task. Recheck the administrator credentials before running this task again. Also check if the user has administrative privileges to connect to the admin share of the Windows managed system. On a Windows CMS, you can do this from Windows Explorer using 'Tools->Map Network Drive'. Configure SSH for host-based authentication ......................... [FAILED]
Configuration failed to complete due to the following exception: Connection to the target system failed due to Connection refused: connect.Target system might be down or does not have a SSH server. The network connection problem could also cause this issue.
please also tell us the community stirngs settings on both managed nodes and on cms???
