Configure or repair agents
We want to deploy agents to our servers (mostly windows) but the agent deployment fails stating that the prerequisites are not met on most of the machines. While the machines that have previously had HP smartstart run on the server to install all the agents from smartstart do work. Can anyone tell me what I am missing as a prerequisite?

Re: Configure or repair agents
Always thought that you could deploy everything to the server but apparently you need to have the following agents installed on a server before you can use HP SIM to update and monitor a server completely.
The following agents are required (depending on OS of course)
One or all of these needs to be present!
- Snmp Service
- HP ProLiant Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO Advanced and Enhanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO 2 Management Controller Driver for Windows

Re: Configure or repair agents
Ive seen this a few times
Your SmartStart CD has stopped supporting the server model
Look at the Hp site for the latest software for that model server install Proliant Support pack on the server
Then get the latest Firmware and SmartStart CD's and install that over the top
Also What model server were you refering too
