Configure SIM Agent to ignore unused NIC

So I have a proliant dl 580 g5 which is running ESX 3.5. i installed the SIM Agents version 8.2 on it this morning. they are now reporting link failures on 3 nic ports. That makes sense because I have not connected network cables to those. they are installed for future growth and configurations as the ESX environment evolves.

My question is how do I tell the agents not to report those nic's as having a failure?

just disable the unused NICs.
