Configuring HP SIM to alow AD Groups to manage specific Servers within AD
Hi,
I am wanting to configure HP SIM 6.0 to alow certain AD Groups to administer server nodes within HP SIM (Add/ remove Servers from HP SIM) through AD OU'S.
An example would be: AN AD Group in London with specific users in it, can manage Servers in the London AD Server's OU within HP SIM. So bassically, HP SIM needs get the info from AD.
I have already sucsesfully connected to AD through LDAP but not to sure how to go abouts the above.
Please advise.
Nick

Re: Configuring HP SIM to alow AD Groups to manage specific Servers within AD
Hi Nick,
with regard to the above issue, please post the details mentioned below.
could you please elaborate more on the setup you did to connect to AD using LDAP.
when you say "I have already sucsesfully connected to AD through LDAP but not to sure how to go abouts the above." does it mean you are connecting a Linux machine or Windows machine to windows AD. and the CMS Operating system etc..
