Create read only password on Server

I have created a new user in the users and authorisation screen on the server but there is no option to set/or change the password. As a result I cant log in. How or where can I set the password?

Create a user account under the local users group on the server then use that account to logon, just make sure the account has admin rights.

If you just want to access the HP insight manager via the web browser do you still need to create a local account, if so why or what is the user account authorisation screen in HP insight manager used for?

You need to set up accounts within HPSIM for additional users. The password controls are done via the AD or whatever is you access control.

Thanks I thought that the HPSIM held the account details
