Create read-only user in HPSIM
I'm sure there's already a note on this someplace that I just can't find.
I'm trying to create a user account in HPSIM which will allow a user to view all info regarding all of our servers, open the system HW pages, view all event logs, and such, but not make any changes, create new servers, reboot, etc.
I'm guessing it's related to "Toolboxes" somehow, but I'm just not putting two-and-two together on this one.
Suggestions?

Re: Create read-only user in HPSIM
When you add a new User into HPSIM you can control what they can do from the User Add menu, controls are All, limited or none.
You can also control what a user can see, e.g. just Servers.
I find limited is good as it allows them to create their own reports but not change anything.

Re: Create read-only user in HPSIM
That's not really it, I'm afraid Rob. Yes, that's where you do the initial work about what they can change in HPSIM, but there's no granular control here over what they can do at the individual server level.
When they go to the HW page, it still automatically logs them into the server as the Administrator (and thereby, they can reboot the server, etc.)
